Question for you guys that have installed the full Hurst Shifter kit...cost was approximately $200 for it...it is the full shifter kit, not just the short throw. I installed everything properly...following the instructions exactly. It vibrates much more than the stock shifter and it makes noise while in gear...I'm guessing it's just the vibration of the tranny/engine turning, but I wanted to know if this is normal? It almost makes a humming noise, but it's not the tranny, it's just the shifter. I believe this to most certainly be the case because while it's in gear, if I touch the shifter or wiggle it around a bit, the noise pitch changes or almost goes away. I can only hear it if the radio is off and the A/C fan is turned down on the lowest setting. Any suggestions?...thanks!
