I owned a '69 SS with a bigblock in it back in the early 70's, and according to the title it weighed 2950 lbs. I never weighed the car, but must admit I'm a bit surprised.

That is RACE WEIGHT!
I have had it checked at a few places and its within 10 lbs each time..........
Full tank of gas, me 200 lbs, helmet & fire exh.
Curb weight wet is around 3100# depending on options............
