Default Wheel hop at track... broke rear and tranny

I had some bad wheel hop around the 60' mark or so and sheered the teeth off the ring gear. Well I dropped a 12 bolt in and went to pull it out of the garage tonight and I have no drive or over drive. I do have 1st, 2nd and reverse. I was on a ver sight grade and when I had it in drive, it was like nuetral and actuall strated to drift backwards. Any clue or guesses on what may have broke? This is a FLP Level 5 tranny. I don't feel it is the result of the tranny build but the result of some severe wheel hop.

i recently had a similar thing happen to me with my 4l60e. I was at the track and did a huge burnout. After that the car wasnt acting right. turns out i messed up my rear. a few days later i installed LT headers and went for a spin. I launched hard from a stop sign, the next stop sign i pushed the gas and went no where (just reved) then i shifted it into 3rd and the same thing, just reved. then i put it down into 1st and 2nd and it went into gear. Long story short i am now getting my tranny rebuilt ( guy said "broken input shaft" or something like that, along with many other things

I just got off the phone with a buddy of mine who is a tranny guy for a large GM dealership. He has been doing transmissions for 20 years. He said his guess would be a lower roller or something like that. I am pulling the tranny tomorrow and he is going to see what broke on Saturday.
