I blew the clutch in a CTS-V and the clutch would not disengage. I drove the car from Houston to College Station by rev matching shifts. I just installed a new clutch and It grinds 3rd gear no matter what I do (only 3rd). Do you just think it is the 3rd gear syncro ring? Where can i get one at a decent price? The car only has 14k miles on it, but i would think the dealer would not cover it considering it has an aftermarket spec clutch.

any input is greatly appreciated.

I rebuild those things if you wanna pull it and bring it over we can tear her down and see exactly what she needs.

The car is a 2004 CTS-V with 14k miles. I can pull the tranny again sometime soon. Would you be willing to look at it with me next weekend, october 8th or so? Parts are relatively cheap for these arent they? It sometimes has difficulty going into first gear as well. (i need to put it in 2nd and back to 1st every once in awhile) Shoot me a PM.
