Compression Help with 6.0 Heads
Ok so here is the deal, I am going turbo this winter hopefully *Fingers Crossed*. So I am going to lower the compression anyways, so the way I figure it is if I get a pair of 6.0 heads I get all of the benefits of the ls6 head but a lot less and its helping me drop my compression. Does that sound right to you? I am also getting forged pistons so I will just get thos dished to the correct amount to get my compression dropped the rest of the way. I am not missing anything am I? Can anyone tell me what the chamber size is on a 6.0 head? Also any suggestions on a pistons size to get my compression to an 8.5 or so? Thanks!

72 cc with .060 MLS and 11cc dish pistons will get you 8.55 with .005 out of hole piston.
You can use this CR calculator to figure it out and enter (-) negative value for out of hole and (+) for in hole piston.
