Default need help with a weird

tonight I got half way through installing my new mti clear lid when I realized that I got sent the wrong one and did not fit. anyways I put everything back except my new power shot filter and then connected the ground battery cable

as soon as I did this I new some thing was wrong since my hazard lights startwd flashing. I started the car and it had a hard tinw idling at first so I shut it down and restarted the car.

now the car runs fine but the hazards are on for the first five minutes and then go off for a minute then go back on for about ten seconds and repeat also my cd player is locked and my theft light blinks. my car is a stripper model and does not have the secerity alarm or anything.

does any one have any clue what's going on?

thanks in advance

Why did you disconnect the battery to install an airbox lid?
I didnt to do mine.

Also, what do you mean by "wrong one" and "didn't fit"?

The cd player may be locked by "TheftLoc".
Here is how to de-activate it:

I dont know what is going on with the blinkers.

The computer also has to "re-learn" how to best control the engine, so dont be surprised if the engine isnt up to full performance/smoothness at first (dont know how long this will take, at least a few miles and start cycles).

I just got a clear lid from Finish Line Performance , a Clear MTI , and it had a hole in it... too bad it was the wrong size . A little silicone fixed that right up though
