Default Rocker Arm side to side movement

I have one valve vover off and noticed that6 of the 8 rocker arms can be wiggled side to side. not much at all but enough for them to go "click click click" when I wiggle them. I checked the torque and they are all torqed. Are they supposed to do this or should they be snug with no side to side movement?

They will move some, especially if that particular valve is not open so the only load on them is the lifter plunger. When you say side to side movement, I assume you mean a slight wiggle not a large movement.

Yeah like vettenuts said, as long as the rocker tip is still making constant contact with the valve, it's ok.

I noticed that too on my install. I guess it's normal.
