i do it in my garage for 250-300 depending if you want a mastercylinder or not!
I'm in north jersey, let me know (973-271-5467) if you want to do it.
Just so you know, I'm a full time technician. I've done my clutch 3 times now, had the trans out many more times for various reasons. Let me know

Does the $500 include the parts? flywheel surface? You have to remeber the mechanic has to drop the transmission to change the clutch.(not a cake job) Be lucky he only wants $500 and not more. I doubt you will find anyone any cheaper unless you have a friend do it

nikeair042, why don't you give me a call and I can relate to you my personal clutch install from last week. I would not trust a dealer to install a clutch after what I went through with dealer mechanics (no offense indended to anyone).
