Billet Slider Keys anyone have them?
I bought the brand new hub assembly from Gforce, and installed while doing my rebuild, finished the install, and it would NOT shift into first or second. So after tearing down again, and reinstalling the stock sliders in 1-2 and billet in 3-4 everything worked just fine. Am I the only to ever have this issue? What we narrowed it down to was, everytime the syncho-hub would slide down (into gear) it would wedge the keys at an angle and cause it to pinch the synchro, not allowing it to slide into gear. I guess I'm gonna call GForce monday morning.

After tearing it apart I'm not sure that they would, for a couple of reasons:
1. If they had slipped, the gear would have chew them up.
2. If wouldn't happen intermittenly, it would be near a constant.
3. That sounds more like your synchros are going out.
Your keys actually engage the synchro to establish connection with XX gear. So they wouldn't be out just a little and fall back in, if the did that it would mean your slider key/retainer spring was gone, or had fallen out of the key.

The key should be in the blocker ring & the hub/collar assembly.
How is it coming out & cocking out of place?
Got to be mismatched parts there somewhere. Thought someone else here recently had the same problem, same vender.
