Default 6 speed tranny nightmare

whats up my roomate just bought a 98 m6 z28, it has only 74k on it and its a clean *** car and is rock sold, anyhow he was driving the other day and then al of a sudden the clutch went to the floor and stuck there, then he couldnt put the tranny in any gears, i pulled the clutch pedal out with my hand and then it wouldnt disengage the clutch or anything and no gears could be gone into, any ideas on what the problem would be?

It sounds like the hydraulics are shot. Check the clutch reservoir to see if there's any fluid left. It could be the master or the slave.

Check the fluid condition and level, then do a search for the dril mod, do that, then you might need to upgrade to the 01 and up hydraulics.

It is definately the hydraulics. I had the same issue. I would have him upgrade the master and slave cylinders. Maybe even a performance clutch while he is at it. Then he should be good to go. After those are upgraded, have him research the "drill mod" and do that. F-bodies clame it's the way to go....

Good luck.......
