Default Critique my nitrous progress....

Here's a couple of things...
1) The rails are going to be stripped and we're going to weld aluminum tabs to allow it to bolt to the intake
2) After the rails are welded, we're going to powdercoat them either mirror or gloss black
3) The fuel end needs to be cut down
4) The fuel solenoid is going(reference in pic 1) direct below the Fast logo with a straight pipe coming out and 90 back to the rear of the car into a 45 and than into the rails.

Also, who makes a 1/4" tubing bender for tight bends?

I am sure the wife isn't happy with the nitrous setup on the kitchen table!

Looks good, I have a bender from either SnapOn or Mac that does pretty nice bends with 1/4", how tight of a radius are you trying to get? I have filled tubes with sand before and capped both ends, then bent it around a rachet handle

thats a good idea. I just used everything around to bend with. I tried to find a bender that would get close tight turns but didn't find one out there. a vice is a good thing to have to hold the pipe while you make your bends.

so far so good. you should be able to find a brake line bender at the parts store. they have some that do multiple sizes.

I want to tighten up the rear bends, they fit but way too big. I purchased a bender from autozone but its like a 1" radius or so, I need like 1/2".

I haven't seen one with a 1/2 radius. If I need it tight like that I just find somthing small to bend around. I am mostly using SS so it can take a pretty tight radius without crinkles. Some of my custom jobs I do 1000s of bends (big boats).

We redid the rear lines and are much happier with the way it is setup now. Where can you get the line locally? Would a brake shop have the line? We're going to start on the fuel side tomorrow than the fogger to rail connections.

Phil I have a call into my guy that does all the ordering. But I believe places like McMaster Carr can fill the bill. But I'll get back when I recieve a call, he may have shut his phone off and went home, so maybe tomorrow.

Phil, you can get what SS tubing you need at your local Hydraulics Supply House. I get mine out of the recycle bin at work.

Short update...
I finally got some time to start working on the nozzle to rail connections. We had thought that they were going to be a PITA but after we made a little template for bending angles and where to start to get the desired finish angle makes it super easy.
