Pontiac Firebird 1967-2002 - anyone know what 'JDP' is?

General (weird) question:
Last night I was taking the front of my car apart preparing for my turbo project, when I noticed a strange sticker behind the foam nose support. It's stuck to the bumper, ~ 7 inches long by 5 wide, green, and has "JDP" in large font printed on it. Clearly it's been there since the car's been built, I was just curious if anyone knew what it was for.

Maybe it's the initials of the person that made that particular part on your car?

I've heard wierd stories about people finding stuff on their cars, like one person found a coke bottle inside the door pannel... maybe you got a "special" WS6 ;)

Is the "JDP" in hand writting or print? If its in print it may be the GM required (however may be excluded with proper GM approval) name of the manufactor that is to be present on their part, however most companies choose to have this molded in but is not possible on thin class A parts. And yes it could be the Q.C. person that checked the part but then it usally says "Checked By:". Just ideas, let us know if you ever figure it out.

The JDP is in huge black font. The paper is greenish, and is smack dab in the middle of the bumper. When I get home Friday night, I'll make a picture and post it.

Oh well... I bet there are other f-cars out there with the sticker. It has a stick-on back. Just thought it was weird... oh well.
