If ever there was an understatement, this one ranks way up there. I wonder what the coefficient of friction for tire cord is. Whatever it is, I'm sure rubber is better. For folks not understanding my babbling, his tires were showing the cords at nights end.
Mine are just about gone too. Tire group purchase! :D

Why so low on the timing? What is your compression?

Stock compression, I need to keep it safe just incase I get crazy and through in the 175-200 jets

After looking over your numbers and knowing your race weight and the DA I would think your trap speed would be faster than 114.23. I think the car has more in it. I would change the timing to 26 degrees and see how it runs.
FWIW my car runs the same with 26-28 degrees of timing but it slows down with only 23-24 degrees.

Thanks, I have to pick up a laptop, I'm using my desktop to make changes with LS-1 edit, so I been trying to keep it safe.
I've melted my stock block and Patriot heads running a 175 shot and 28*, so I'm a little skeerd :eek2:

12-9-05 I raised the timing to 26, still shifting at 6800

Something seems wrong, I'd think you would be trapping closer to 118-120mph on motor.
