Default Main Cap removal

Whats the best way to remove the main caps once you have removed the main studs and side bolts(crank in block)? Do they make a special tool to loosen them?

pry with a flat screwdriver very VERY litle each side at a time take your time, dont use too much force, the force needed for a LITTLE wont mar the aluminum from the block
