Default starting slave cylinder swap

I'm starting a slave cylinder swap on Saturday morning. I have a 98 Z28. Per the advice from someone on this forum, I purchased an 01 slave cylinder.

Here's the thread on that:

Does anyone have some dos and don'ts for this job? Anyone happen to know the torque specs on bolts holding the transmission to the engine?

Any comments would be welcome.

Kind Regards,
Israel
