Have you checked your tranny mount? Do you have a steel or aluminum driveshaft? Are you sure your tranny is shifting into 4th?

I just had the same problem, I'll finish my car tonight. I was told it might be vibrating because your output shaft could be bent...I hope this isn't the case for me too!

Well if your like me you'll fix everything but what the problem is. I replaced almost everything possible but the transmission output shaft, and that is what ended up being the problem. It was bent just enough to cause a bad vibration.Let me know what you find out. Traver

How much did you pay for the output shaft?
How hard was it to replace?

I bought the shaft used for $30.00. The bad part about it was the trans had to come apart. Traver

My friend is replacing the output shaft today...I hope nothing else is broken or bent. I am also installing a VIG 3200 to help me off the line.

It sounds like the pinion angle may need to be adjusted.

I just went through the same thing as well. Make sure you check the bushing in the rear of the case where the output shaft exits. I found that with mine the bushing was wiped out and spun inside the case thereby ruining the case itself. If the bushing spun you will not be able to install a new one and will need to replace the case.
