My clutch started making intermittant (sp?) noises tonight. Loud chattering, clutch burning smell, sound of ceramic grinding... It comes and goes.. It's a Mcleod Twin disk with aluminum flywheel. I have this clutch/flywheel combo in my lightly modded car because I bought the entire 6 speed conversion off of someone on here. I was told from square one that this is too much clutch for my car. My question is, since my clutch is most likely toast, can I use any clutch with my aluminum flywheel? I am looking at a Spec 2 or possibly 3.

Please advise.
