Default No TC lockup...?mechanical problems

What mechanical problems within the transmission will cause the torque converter not to lock. I have ruled out any electrical problems including the wiring and the TCC solenoid. It it not related to tuning. I can hook up with a scanner a see the PCM command it to lock and unlock when it is supposed to. Other than the O-ring on the input shaft and the possibility of excess wear in the bore of the TCC and PWM valve is there anything else and what can be done to correct it.

Thanks

I own a transmission shop and I ran into that problem even after repairing the PWM bore for excess wear.I bought a Trans Go Seperator plate that goes between the valve body and case and it fixed the problem even though the old one looked fine. The one they sell for our cars is part# PLT 96-04.You will need to drill the feed holes to match yours but the plate is Zinc plated and works great.I hope this helps.
