Default Soon to own an ls1, maybe

Hi, I currently own an red 96 z28 a4. It is getting to the point where I really dont like it. Mainly because its an auto and worring about the opti going out. I found a 2000 red Z28 m6, ebony leather, t-tops, and all the power options and whatnot. It also has 83,000 miles so it is a bit of a step up since mine has 110,000. Do you guys who what this 2000 z28 is worth in the Virginia-North Carolina gerneral area?

Btw sorry if this is the wrong forum, I'm new.

Mileage really doenst matter on the LS1. The price of built motors is so reasonably priced now adays.

He was asking 10,500 but im not sure if I will bite it. Actaully im pretty sure that I wont because I only have $1,000 on me and Its a while before tax return. On one good note I will get a good amount back because I only make about 9 grand a year. (hey im 17) I was able to buy my 96 for 6,500 a year ago on the 25th. My tax return money plus my old Z would take a fair chunk out of the price. I'm still unsure though because it will be gone by the time I have any money. Who know I may find a deal on my dream car, black ws6, m6, leather and all. Anyone around here from Virginia or North Carolina and would like to get rid of one? Thanx for your time,
Jon
