Default Anyone do LED taillights on an SS?

I was thinking about getting the LED replacement tailight bulbs.(Not for the 3rd brake light, but for the actual brake lights) Does anyone know if they work good? Does anyone have them?

I've heard of people doing this mod, I think the only problem that occurs is that you need a relay for the blinker LED to work.

Hey Kevin, I saw a guy doing this before, and he charged out the *** for them. They looked awesome though, and were pretty damn bright. It looks like a pain in the *** to do though. Good luck finding what your looking for.

I was thinking of maybe just the LED bulb replacement....would that do the trick? I mean custom parts cost money....money I could use to go fast......screw extra money!

You will also need to replace both the signal and hazard flashers with electronic units (Trident EL-12).

You can get just LED-bulbs, but they might "hot spot" and not fully light the lens, unless you get those "tower" ones with LEDS in all different directions. They shouldnt "hot spot", but you dont know until you try.
ex:

(One or two of the other threads also mentioned them.)
