I will be runing the BIG e cam 244/248 612/615 and ive been kicken it around sense i wont be able to use the car to spring anyways maybee save some more coin and go with a new 225 Dart head or a PP Stage 3 ls6 head what kinda power increase whould i see. also the dart head come with springs good with .625 will i be safe with the big e cam and there springs

Im running a 244/248 .612/.615 113lsa in my 408 with Patriot stage 3 LS6 heads. Their dual springs are good to .650. No problems here. Specs on the heads are: Stage III LS6 heads, 62cc combustion chambers, 2.08 intake & 1.60 exhaust valves, Patriot gold dual springs. Dont have any #s yet. But I will real soon.

If you are going to save your money for better heads then i would do it right the first time and save for the afr 225 or a set of the ET performance heads. <-------- I think thats what they're called. If you go w/ one of these i dont think you will have any regrets.

call TEA up and have them port you some AFR's, or wait on the ET's....either way IMHO it would be better than going with PP's

I had mine ported locally. They are 225cc and flow right good Don't have any dyno or track numbers yet - too busy tuning customers cars to get to my own. But I hope to get it done soon!

I have out of the box AFR 225's milled to 69cc on my 408 with a 253/257 643 646 112lsa cam w/ manley nextek springs. I choose to keep the AFR's untouched due to the fact i have not seen any #'s to suggest that porting them more really helps
