Default New update for Max 2.

Maximizer-II with real curve technology! If ever there was a reason to buy a Maximizer ... this is it! A real Nitrous curve - not a lame linear ramp. Now you can transform your time or RPM ramp into a curve that is customized for your set-up. Maximize the performance of your nitrous system.

Already own a Maximizer-II - don't worry, you bought the best and now it's our turn to say thanks. Download the updates and your unit will have the real curve technology just like the one built tomorrow. [For Free]

And yes, to program a "real curve" requires a computer. But then you're not driving a grocery getter - you're flying a rocket!

Expected release date: Oct 15th

Ricky

So what else do we want this thing to do.. BESIDES timing retard, working on it very strongly right now. I am think this was the only thing left you could do with progressition style systems.. With this there are 5 ways to control the ramping, TIME, RPM, MultiCurve, TPS trim, MAP. How much more control do we need. LOL....

It is for the MAX2 and only in pc version... The palm stuff was max 1. Now they are working on an interface and should be ready sometime in the future.
Upload from the FJO site.

the one I have is this:

I'm sure it's the Max2.
Max1, I think it's the one with a little display and 4 buttons on it or something.
Max2 did have the PDA support... heck, have it on my PDA.

I have a question about the gear counter. I'm sure everything works fine when you start in first gear and go through the gears. But what about when you're cruisin down the highway and you downshift into third gear and request a nitrous shot. Will the Maximizer know the car is in third gear? Or will the software start in first gear even though the car is in third? I thought I read somewhere that the Maximizer resets after not being used for a while. Thanks.

it does reset...but you can program it to reset to whatever gear you want. If you know you will be going from a third gear roll...you can set it to reset to the third gear profile after xx seconds.

If you are looking to grab any gear at any time...use the MAX II in rpm mode

I need one of these bad boys for my new nitrous system, sounds like it kicks some serious ***. I assume it will replace all external sensors normally associated with nitrous kits?

I'm getting ready to install the MAF System with the Gen-X II kit on my 2002 SS.
I already have the Electric Guage, Bottle Heater, Electronic Opener, Both Systems mentioned above, Purge Kit, 15lb Bottle,Multi-Switch, and several other items. The
ONLY thing missing was the controller. I think I've found it now! Is the MAX II on
the market yet? What should I expect from it?

MAX 2 has been out for over 6 months and has 3 free uploads since its release.. The latest being the multi ramp.. Right now there is no other controller that do what the Max 2 can do.. Feel free to go to the FJOracing.com go to maximizer downloads and download Maximizer 2 software. Then you can check out what it can do... The unit can controll all of the above parts and more.

I'd like to have it integrate a kick off for the Trans Brake, Two Step and as mentioned Advance/Retard. I have seen several setups and the wiring is crazy for them, so I would also say throw in a set of metricpacks, or weatehrpacks as necessary to hook into car.

Awesome product again guys, keep it up.
