Hey guys I got a 2000 SS and I don't race much. I already dished out too much $$ :bang: ne wayz... I need to know what type headers should I get along with a catback exhaust? I don't plan on racing it but I want it to sound aggressive!! Any input would be cool.....

There You Go. Also If Your State Has Emissions Then You Need To Take That Into Consideration Also.

DONT get shorty or mid length headers they are a waste of money, I would look for something cheaper like pacesetters or hookers, as for a catback I am very happy with my hooker it is extremely low restriction, also keep in mind whether or not you are going to want to have a y pipe with cats or not

You couldn't find long tubes for an f body?

The Hooker is a good unit and has enough flow for minimal loss upto 375bhp according to the sticky in the external engine forum.

To the original poster - If you're planning on more serious mods maybe look for alternatives that can flow better so you will not get any restriction from lack of exhaust flow on higher bhp motors. Read the sticky (link above) it's pretty long but worth while.

Sort of. Almost every sponsor on this board that sells headers has long tubes.
