If I buy a gauge cluster on ebay and get another gauge overlay kit (nicer one then the **** I put in now) will the mileage read whats on my car or what the mileage is from the used cluster I buy. The reason I'm thinkin about buyin used is that my tach is sometimes slow to come on and then sometimes is slow but once it warms up the tach works great. Also my gauges are starting to dull, from that blinding blue I had from the start.

The milage is stored in the cluster. You'll have to have the milage reset to be "legal".
