My last dyno was 417HP 404 Torque

I swapped my 230 228 cam with a 228 232 cam and added 64cc 205 AFR's with .040 cometics.

I'm hoping for 435HP, I figure to lose a couple HP with the smaller cam but gain a bunch with the heads...

Car is a 2003 Z06 with Kooks, Vararam, Stingers, no cats.

If I don't hit 435, Tony is going to hear about it LOL

The previous dyno was with stock heads? If so, I say you hit 435 easy...maybe 440.

I think over 450rwhp is possible with fast intake.

Do you have that car tuned?

Do you have that car tuned?
Yes, it was a full dyno tune, untuned it made 419HP and 394 Torque. It was very rich.

Considering the 64cc chambers that sounds about right... You do not have a FAST 90/90 setup, correct??

What was the LSA and advance on the cam (XE-R???)

:lurk:

Correct, no Fast 90, LSA is 113.
It is the G1 cam....Looks like the X1 was a stoudt cam, I should have kept it. I figured the standard split would benefit me more.

Dave what were the Corrected Numbers?

John
It was very close, that why I just went with uncorrected.
Maybe 2-3HP/Torque

Dave...

The big header (1.875) on a 346 might have liked the other camshaft with less exhaust duration and a larger intake lobe. Unfortunately you made a couple of changes at once which makes an eveluation of the results more challenging shall we say. The reality is that an AFR 205 normally shows around 20-25 HP over a stock set of LS6 heads (more when compared to LS1 heads of course), so that being said and the fact you threw a different cam in the mix, IMO, your results aren't that out of line. With an LS6 intake and the "mods" you have made, I would say you have made about "par" based on other cars we have all seen. Add a FAST 90 to that set-up and watch it come alive....I think with the large tube exhaust, the more intake flow we can get in that engine, the more it would respond. Give me a ring at AFR if your looking for more and we can discuss some of your options...

Regards,
Tony

PS....Also, I would have liked a comparison of all "corrected" dyno numbers myself....whether that made the comparisons look better or worse, thats the only way to fly if your trying to evaluate changes and the impact they had. Uncorrected numbers from different days, at much different times of year are really useless to compare. Also, what is the exact lift, LSA, and ICL of the cam you installed (assuming you checked all of that).
