Have there been alot of threads on this? I guess I don't search well, but I suppose it's a pretty major topic among car folk so there would be threads on it.

My Baby Cam and Heads LS1 in street trim can do 5.8s to 60mph at an average of 50% throttle. At the strip at 100% it can do 3.4s on ET street radials and 4.2s on F1 GS D3s in 245/40 x 18

It did close to 6.6s stock with 3.07s

A stock f-body can definitely turn a 4.7-4.8 with good driving

Sorry man, there are hardly any stock LS1 F body running low 4's. Low 4's are found in the Vette Z06 and Ferrari Modena. Average stock F-body is more like 5.2 range.

Unless "almost stock" means Drag Radials, intake, exhaust, and a cam...

almost stock = stock class/daily driver class= no bolt ons, i guess my sense of stock is defined by whats NOT in the car, but ive seen guys at the track run high 4s in a bone stock 4th gen , a4, no joke, and i doubt they were all lying about not being modifed

you might be able to hit 4's with drag radials......no way it runs mid to low 4's stock tho......maybe if you put an ls1 in a miata, it might do mid 4's, haha

Isn't there some sort of calculator to determine 0-60 based on 60'? That would help with this debate.

Yeah I'd say mid 4's is strecthing it. I've seen a time of 0-60 in 5.1 secs.

my 98 ta M6 with a SLP lid and MAGNAFLOW catback was in the 4.7-5.0 range. for tires, i had goodyear eagle GS~C's 315-35-17 radials. and yes im a good driver. i got some free mods done now and 285 40 17 radials, so ill have to see what it is now. i know it rips hard as hell thru 4 gears it will put u back in seat HARD.

who knows how accurate that is. According to that, I do it in 2.36 seconds. That is on drag radials and not an fbody, though. ;-)

Dead stock my A4 SS would 0-60 in 4.7 seconds and 13.24@104.85 was my best then. Stock everything.

Now with a PT4000 stall/longtubes ORY-pipe,Borla,Lid and BFG KDWS tires i can feather a 4.5 ,now to get the 315/35/17 Nitto's and see what happens .

Interesting. I just thought I would ask about this here because the magazine articles I have found on them always seem to be on the slow and inaccurate side.

0-60 time is stupid. 1/4 time and trap speed are better indicators of speed.
