Why you should take your foot off the gas...
Sorry for the crappy cell pics, without good lighting it sucks.
Crazy night at the Q. Lawton from Top Flight got the vette to a 6.9, Ed ran a 7.6@96 I think, Tony got a couple 8.0s, Aram blew up the driveshaft in his LS1 Rx7, I did a 8.9@86 doin 40% tps most of 2nd (yay street tires), some good times. My first time on the tree in about two years..

I wish I had taken a few pics of the Formula.
I didn't want to though since I was sure the kid felt bad enough as it was I don't think he needed some guy from the spectators snapping pics of his smooth move.
The track guys were taking pics though, so it might end up on the site.
Hopefully next time we can all meet up, I plan on running my car too if I can get a hold of a helmet.

Here's the quote from my post on our board:
Yeah, he n00b'd it up pretty good. Proceeded to do a huge smokey burnout in reverse, stop, then drop it into drive, continue his smokey burnout then staged, launched and tried to drive it out, ended up smacking the wall with the front and back. All on what seemed to be pretty used DRAG RADIALS!

if you even START to loose control you should lift up a lil... I was almost the victim of a guy who didn't know quite when he was loosing control at the drag strip last time i was there... if he wasn't a 9 second car, I would've been t-boned or sideswiped HARD.
