Default Zo6 heads on stock 5.3L a factory option?

Hey guys. I've been all over it seems the last few weeks both here and on the truck site and am still quite confused. I've read in a few post's that the heads with 243 casted in them, I believe top side, lower right corner, are the Z06 heads. I have an 02 Silverado that I bought brand new with 5 miles on it so I know no one has put anything on it. The RPO says LM7 and it's also a T code engine, which was the Flex fuel code for 2002 at least. Is it possible that I got a 5.3L truck block with the Z06 heads? Or am I looking in the wrong spot for the casting number. Thanks

That's what mine looks like. So then, was it normal for the 02 LM7's to have LS6/Z06 heads? I want to put new heads and stuff on and I would like to know what I'm starting with first.

Ok, before anyone calls BS on me... I just looked again and it is apparent that I was smoking crack, bludgeoned with a baseball bat and really confused. There is no 243 on my head, instead it's 706. Can't explain how I got the two mixed up, I just did.

So, disregard and carry on. Thank you, nothing to see here.

yeah, drugs are bad, mmmkay?

Well, this brings up a good question for me. I've been doing alot of searching lately trying to figure out what head I can go with. I even called a few places but have only been able to speak with SLP, which the person I spoke with said they have nothing to go on my truck. which confuses me even more. How can a GM tuner like SLP have nothing for trucks? I thought that all the Gen 3 LS1's are the same basic design no matter the application.

Is there a cylinder head thread like the stickied cam thread around here? I've searched for 5.3 cylinder heads, gen 3 heads and whatever else I could think of at the time but have been only more confused after all the reading. I think I just need help getting to know the Gen 3's before I start tearing into mine and fing things up.
