Default piston to valve clearance and head gasket?

do you guys think i will have any piston to valve clearance running a negative 8cc piston .051 cometic head gasket and a 231/236 .591/.600 114 lsa cam and it will have the 62cc chamberd dart heads on it. and i will have a 4.030 bore so do i need a headgasket with a 4.030 bore or one slightly larger?

Let me be the first to say, don't trust mechanical clearances upon reading a
few positive replies.

If you're off on cam phasing, pre-load, etc. you just might be in trouble.

There is an excellent procedure I picked up from here which allows you to
check PTV clearance using a dial, check spring and degree wheel.

Do a search for PTV and you'll see pages of good advice.

Anyone have a good part number for a check spring?

I agree with the adrenaline, nothing like physically checking. I'm getting my heads shipped fully loaded, so I hate buying a spring tool and check spring just to use them for verification, but it would be STUPID not to.
