Question LS6 Heads / Cam on a LS1

I'm looking at the Pace Performance LS6 High Performance "CNC Heads \ 2002 Z06 cam (204/218 .551.541 117.5 LSA)" 405HP + Conversion Package for my 97 C5 Auto which has the following mods:

LS6 Intake.
Vararam cold air intake.
Jet-Hot coated Dynatech headers and Hi-Flo cats.
Z06 cat back.
TCI SF3000 converter.
3:42 rear gears.
Built A4 w/Transgo shift kit

If you have done this I would appreciate your opinion on the results. I'm especially interested in the valve train noise if any. I'm looking to have an absolutely stock quiet valve train. Also is there any advantage to buy the CNC'ed heads vs. the regular LS6 head in this application? Please note that I know that there are better cams out there but I can’t seem to find anyone that can assure me that their cam will be as quiet as the stock cam.

Mark

No cam at all?
I would think that is what would be the "noisy culprit" in most cases.
I had a 222/226 that was really quiet, but the 244/248 sure sounds like a box of rocks over stock valvetrain noise.

Sorry! I edited my post to include the Z06 cam and its specs. I had a 224/224 .567 .567 cam and it had a small amount of noise at idle and at 2000 - 2200 rpms it was to noisy for me so I went back to the stock cam. I now have a quiet valve train and I don't want to make the same mistake twice!

Thanks,
Mark
