Default Cam on the way! Questions.....

Hi there, newbie signing in.

Well as the sig says, I've got an 04 ls1 Holden Monaro and I've gone and bought a cam. It is a comp cams 232/236/.574/.578. 113lsa. I'm definately doing valve springs (are comp cams 918's ok??) and hardened pushrods, but should I also do titanium retainers as well? Is there anything else I should add to that?

The cam won't be going in for a while (easter next year) and I bought it very slightly used from a guy over on ls1gto.com. Should I store it in oil in the mean time?

Now the exciting bit lol, what kind of numbers will I make with mods in sig + long tube headers + cam? Does anyone else here have this cam? If so what's the idle like - I'm expeting it to be reasonably lopey to say the least but just an idea?

Thanks in advance,
Booster

I would say to get the Titanium Retainers, help lighten up the valvetrain and make it alot happier. Also with that big cam, I'd would 100 percent get a computer tune for a better Idle and h.p. gains. Hope you like sewing machines cause your motor is going to sound like one.
