Default No Rev Limiter

My Rev Limiter is set at 6800 and last night at the track I was hitting 7100 and did not bump the rev limiter. This was in 1,2,and 3rd gears. I had to back off the gas or blow the motor. How can this be???

Thanks in advance

If you are using your stock tack, it could be off a few hundred RPMs

what table are you looking at for the rev limiter
should be cutoff rpm vs gear...and your resume must be less than your cutoff

Default Tack

I have a stock tack and an Autometer. Both are accurate when I checked the computer RPM with HP tuners.

Default Cutoff

You got it. I just pulled up the file and last time it was tuned the shop changed the cutoff. It was set at 7000. I should have looked before shooting off at the keyboard.

Thanks Guys
