Default Change Oil code

Ok first of all I don't need to change my oil I just did it. Now when I start my car the oil change light comes on and then goes off about five minutes later. WTF?? the weather has been getting cooler around here could that have anything to do with it?

read your owners manual.. it tells how to reset the oil change light ... I believe it's hold the trip meter button in for 10-15 seconds... but the manual tells you exactly how to do it

Turn the key to run, hold down the trip/oil reset button until it flashes and goes off - or turn the key to run and depress the gas pedal 3 or 4 times if you don't want to lose your trip mileage.
