Default How many rpms with new Cam?

i just ordered this cam from thunderracing and its in the process of being installed as we speak (224/224 .563/.563 114 LSA) on there website they say it makes power to 6600rpms.. i guess my question is how high can i safely raise my rev limiter for the cam? i also got the comp cams springs and the hardened cromoly pushrods this is all for a 2000 Z28 M6

my mods are:
Zex wet kit (100shot)
Random Technology catback w/ SLP quad exhaust kit
Pacesetter LT's,
ORY,
SLP Airlid w/ k&N filter,
SLP SFC,
SLP Strut tower brace,
SLP short Shifter,
SLP Eibach lowering kit 1",
160 degree thermostat
Descreened MAF

i'd spin it to 6K. Dyno it at 6500 for some good braggin numbers, and on the street shift it at 6K, that way you MAY miss out of up to 25 hp, but you wont bump the limiter. you didnt list hardened pushrods...so lets not hit that limiter. You have a 100 shot....and i can guranetee that if you hit the limiter on the sauce, you will have some pushrod guide issues afterwards, or worse. And tha 25whp N/A loss wont matter on the shot.

My TR224 112LSA peaks at 6100rpms holds flat to 6350rpms and starts falling soon after. I shift for max effort at 6400rpms. Get it dynoed and go from there.

I would set the rev limiter to 6700, but shift around 63-6500. The extra RPM's would be there for missed shifts.
