Default Raptor shift light, what RPM?

I purchased a 99 formula a few months ago and will be going to the track this weekend for the first time. The car is completly stock. I bought a raptor shift light and was wondering if thier is a specific RPM it should be set at for the best times without over reving and doind damage. I belive the rev limiter is set at 6200 rmp is this correct and what RPM should I set it at?
Thanks in advance
