My Supra was on 23lbs (110/93 mix). It has gt42 turbo, supporting mods, 6 speed. Stock from throttle body until turbo kit.
The Cobra has ported blower, exhaust, pully, tune, etc. It dyno's 490's and run's 11.8's at 118-119.
The owner of the cobra is a good friend of mine. Props to him and the car. All in good fun.

nice vid, but is it me, or is the cobras front bumper at the supras door when they take off door in the 1st 2 races?

It was in that area, but you can also hear the cobra take the hit.... honestly, do you believe him starting at my mirror would effect who won the race?

Not at all. You clearly have too much for him...and you let off. You would've
kept pulling and pulling.

Just finished up the swap to a 6 speed with new gears, so I have no times yet. My previous best before the new gears was 11.9 @ 123mph on 18lbs. That was with a 2.1 60' and 5500 rpms into 5th! The new gears will let me stay in 4th the whole way. Should pick up quite a bit from that. Next on the list is ET streets and skinny's.

no, you still would have won but when you race it should be a dead even start. thats just my opinion though.

I agree with you, but sometimes in the heat of the moment, two different drivers may be changing speeds more then they think. Either way, it wasn't intentional.

lol, love how you start 3/4 car length ahead each time. He actually got a better jump each time. Had you started even he would have pulled ahead momentarily. Your car clearly had the stronger top end though. Good races.
PS-the passenger sounded a little :gay:
