Default Wait4MeTune??

I just thought I would ask. I got my PCM back from Jesse today. Put it in and the first thing the SES light came on. I assume it is for the crank re-learn. I went to take it for a test drive and the shifts were real slow and soft and when tryin to cruise the truck will surge very badly like the TC is tryin to lock-up but can't. Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong? Other than that there is a very noticeable power gain. Can someone help?

I tried calling him tonight with no luck. I will try Monday. The slow shifts are not the main problem. It is the steady throttle surging that is worrying me. It also feels like the tranny is slipping when it is surging.

Is your MAF clean, not wet? My buddies STS-SS just had similar issues to your description and its water on the MAF. GL,

Charlie

Is there any chance not having the crank relearn done yet could be causing my trouble.

I talked to him today. He talked me through some diagnostics and we decided that I must have got a bad PCM. I will have to say so far I am extremely pleased with his customer service.

That is what is happining to me. Jesse also tuned mine. Mine is running extremly rich. The first to second shift feels like it's slipping or it cannot find the right gear. It is DUMPING fuel. I'm getting something like 9 miles to the gallon!!! When I put it into reverse it will die alot of times. I guess I'll give him a call.

Well after all the problems I had with the w4m tune I gave butch (butch 02 denali) at advance a call and ordered a Westers tune for myself. Let me tell you, there is one hell of a difference. This thing pulls like a frieght train now. The shifts are just the way he said they would be and everything is exactly what he said it would be. I can definately see why the Westers tunes are alittle more now but, it is worth every penny. If anybody doubts Westers give butch a call or pm and he will make a believer out of you.
