Default Rverse lockout?

Ok I warmed my car up last night as it was a little cold,I go to put it in reverse and it just doesnt want to go.I finally say screw and push real hard and it goes in.On the drive home I try at lights and same thing, get home and its back to normal.Any thoughts on what it could be?I dont believe its the lockout solenoid as it moves over fine, and the car shifts great otherwise so I dont think synchros.Could it really be a fluke deal?Any ideas would be appreciated.

I've found that sometimes gettin into reverse is a PITA, the stick doesn't seem to want to go over far enough, it's a random rare occurance on mine, so I just deal with it, it also does it going into 1st sometimes

Mine didnt have a problem going over ,that would be the solenoid lockout I believe.Mine just didnt want to go into gear, but when I pushed real hard it went in and didnt grind. So I dont know what the hell to think.I guess I will change the fluid this weekend.Still curious if anyone else has this happen?Well I just started the car and it wont go in reverse at all again, and I pushed hard as ****.Any suggestions?

I used to have probs once in awhile, but then put the car in 1st before putting it in reverse. I remember my dad telling me to do that on his old 64 vette. something about stopping the sycnros or something?? it works every time for me, and is just now a habbit.

if you have a SES light, check the ENG SES fuse under your hood (closest to driver fender). If its blown, thats your problem.

If not, Im not sure...
