First off I like to say hello to everyone,I have learned alot from everyone here.I just wished I knew before hand before some mods,my question is that I just bought a fast 78mm tb and just wondered if I need a tune with that?The car is a 2000 ta,shorty headers ,lid+kn filter,slp ypipe,loudmouth.

i would say a tune isnt totally necessary. wait for heads, cam, gears and such.

Thanks for quick reply.I hope to do a cam next year and put in my magnaflow muffler while I can still hear,I cant take the drone anymore.

I would get a tune as soon as you got the headers. Without a tune you leave a lot of the Hp you paid for unused.

Im getting a fast 78mmtb & 78mm manifold,so I will be getting a tune after that.I hope to head to taxachussett for the tune in spring,getting cold to fast before you know it the snow is going to fly. I was thinking about a tune after I put the headers on,but thats when I found this site and everyone says the shorties are a waste.Damn I wish I found this site before hand I would have went with a Kooks lt setup.
