Default TH350 and TH400 differences

I have everything I'll need to run a TH350 just no tranny so I was wondering if I got a TH400 from a buddy of mine will everything I have from shifter, to converter, to driveshaft and crossmember work the same?

shifter - it depends on which one you have.
converter - WILL work
crossmember - wont bolt up, but you can modify it to fit.
driveshaft length will be different from 350-400.

i say if you don't have a huge h.p. car, go with the 350.

I seriously think the 350 is sufficient just having trouble getting the seller to ship the damn thing to me so I can be ready for our Missouri meet. Trust me if he would get it here I'd be all over using it. The shifter is a modified stock one to work on a 350 and what modification will the crossmember require? The crossmember Ihave is the replacement from BMR.
