Default Lower bumper getting painted

Hey I am thinking about getting my lower bumper painted, but I am not sure what color. My car is black and I was thinking a shiny Gunnmetal Grey color. I was also thinking about white or red, but I am not sure how well it will flow. Any thoughts? Also, any photos of black t/a's with the bumper painted if possible. I have seen a few on here, but not many other than grey. I have my fender vents painted Grey, with Chrome Trans Am overlay and chrome Pontiac overlay in the back. I will be getting a ws6 hood soon, maybe with white/grey black bird stripes.

Always liked how Grand Am's had the grey. Red TA's with black look good. Not sure how a black TA would take to it. Maybe do some photoshop's to see before hand.

Just saw a pic of the lower bumper you were talking about......I'd say leave it black, since it's a black car. Another color might look good painted, but, as the great Burt Reynolds said..."black is beautiful".

I'd paint it the same color as you chose for the blackbird stripes/side vents

Leave it black is my stance. And I have to agree with Mr. Reynolds, "black IS Beautiful"

I definitely think you should go with a dark charcoal/gunmetal. Looks absolutely amazing in person.

i would say leave it black, if you decide to paint it i would say gunmetal, don't think red or white would look good on your car

Yeah post them when you can. I'd like to see them. I'm still contemplating, and thought about leaving it black. But, I'm thinking maybe a darker grey or smoke might look good also.

I think if you are going to do it you should try a flat / semi gloss red. Painting it that gunmetal gray would not be too original and white would look funny

I agree. Please don't paint it red. I think the key to a great CETA-style bumper is making it subtle.
