Default Best set of heads to match this cam...

I want to have a heads & cam car. No forced induction or nitrous ever. I need to know what the best set of heads for a daily driver with a F13 on a 112LSA. I go to the track every now & again so power through 5500 RPM is what I'm aiming for. I was thinkin maybe a set of AFR 205's??

Any input is greatly appreciated.

That cam should make peak power at 6200-6300 rpm. If your looking for lower end power try a tr 224/112. or a 220/112 cam.

I know what it peaks at but I will probably not take it all the way there. At least it will make very good power throughout those RPM though. I also do alot of street racing, if that makes a difference.

I would reccomend that you get in a car with a cam like that, or a similar cam and see how it feels. I don't know its exact specs off hand, but it would be pointless to get a cam like that and only spin it to 5500. My G5X4 cam doesn't start to make any type of real power until about 4900rpms. It sounds like you want a cam to give you nice low end torque.

And the AFR 205's would be a nice choice for that cam. If you have a little bit of patience and dont mind waiting, wait till the new heads from various companys come out, and compare prices and flow numbers, etc..

Good question.

Also Jimmy P the specs are: 230"/232" .595"/.585" on either a 114 or 112 LSA. Says it makes very good power from 2500-6800 RPM. If its safe to spin it to like 6500 RPM after the heads & cam install I will, but I just don't want to push it to the point of breakin.
