Default gold conversion question

i'm pondering getting a set of 10th anniversary stripes for my firehawk, and then replacing the silver 'firehawk' decals to gold (not the 10th decals), and then doing the 'pontiac' on the rear and headlight, license plate bird, and maybe finding one for the taillamp bird (havent seen one yet though).

so anyways, my question is about the stripes and the spoiler. the 10th anniversary firehawk got the special spoiler that SLP offered, but my firehawk has the regular TA spoiler... will the stripes fit properly on the spoiler and rear deck, or will i have to get them custom made?

Most stripe kits come a little "long" so I would say you should be ok in length. Why not just get a full gold stripe set from Fourth Circle Designs? Either way it will look killer.

Definitely post pics when you get it! Sounds like it will be pretty hot.

went to their site, saw a stripe kit, but i think the 10th anniversary stripes are a little different... i believe the edges fade off on the 10th, and not cut straight

There are a few sites that sell strip kits and I'm sure you can get a set of gold ones for your hawk.

Phoenixgraphix.com is the 1st one that comes to mind. check out their site

Or if you want something local I know a really good shop that can make you some stripes.

No, they will not fit with the high-level spoiler.
I've had our car side by side with a WS6, & don't believe they will work.
It's a good idea, as I love the color scheme, but I'm biased, ...
Some of the decals are out of stock, & are not being made again.
You'll have to have them custom made, & Yes, they have a 'fade to black' outline.
One problem tho, ..., You'll have a few people calling it a 'clone', ...
Good Luck!

well that certainly blows... i thought i saw some missing parts on slp's site, but didn't look at it too closely. as far as being a 'clone', i wanted the 10th stripes, cuz it would make the car a bit more unique than everyone else that has straight cut as opposed to the fade to black.

but anyways, i just called SLP and they confirmed that they wont fit on the regular spoiler, and also that they dont even have all the pieces anymore ... they suggested that shops can custom make them... but i think it would cost mad loot to get them made with that fade.

back to the drawing board i guess
