Default HB/US General Roller Bearing Tool Chest

Anyone have any experience with these?

I have a Craftsman Pro BB 2 piece set now and am running out of room for the tools the way I want to lay them out.

I checked out the US General BB chest at Harbor Freight. That thing was pretty nice. Crinkled red finish, 33 percent wider than normal, and good drawer action.

I opened the top drawer and leaned on it pretty hard, still slid nicely, as nice if not nicer than my Craftsman.

Its basically the same size as the larger Craftsman, 44" I think? My Craftsman is 32 or 36? Whatever their normal width chests are.

Can't link directly but the HB part numbers are:

90320
92099

Right about $700 for the pair. I got a killer deal on my Craftsman and have been happy with it. I priced them out on clearance at $580 but I bought it last year when they let you stack every coupon in the world on top of one another and picked up the top and bottom for $480.

I really like the drawer and could use the room but its tough to drop $700 at HB considering I'm usually picking up bottom of the barrel stuff from there that I might use once or twice.

If you haven't seen this chest go check it out its pretty nice from what I could visually see, just wondering how the overall quality is.

I looked at the box a couple months ago.
Its a 41" box. Looked pretty good to me, I too leaned on a couple of the drawers to check the slides out...seemed to work as good if not better than the Craftsman boxes.
Home Depot has a similiar sized box too, but more $$$$.

I looked at the boxes at HD too.

They didn't seem to have a good grasp that not everyone is 7' tall

You stack the 2 big ones they sell and need a ladder to get to the top.

I felt the HF was even better than the HD units.

The stuff Lowes sells is crap from what I saw, even their BB units were shady.
