12s?
Would I be in the 12s if I would install a zo6cam or cheater.I cant decide between the bothI know the zo6 would give me more power up top but what about the cheater?this would be on stock heads and manifolds.the only thing im going to do is ls6 intake and ported tb and that would be it for this car.It is a daily driver.I want to hit 12s consistent but on street tire.I also see people putting down the zo6 cam I really dont care about hp.I could have 280hp as long as I can be in th 12s.Please help.

You shouldn't need a cam to go 12's. I'm guessing you already have the converter that is in your sig. You should be in the 12's already, or damn close if so. If not the ported tb, and ls6 intake should do it. If not headers will do it for sure. I was running 12.7's easily on street tires w/ bolt ons and 3500 stall.

I have run 12.9 at 1300' elevation with full bolt-ons and no internal motor work. This was on Nitto DR's but they are not much better than street tires (best 60' with them was 1.95 and best with my street tires was 2.03).
Keeping the stock exhaust and limiting other bolt-ons you probably will need a cam but pretty much any one (including the one's you listed) would be enough. The Cheater is a much more powerful cam than the LS6 cam running very high valve lift and so it will need serious springs and monitoring.

Cheater would give you a better all around spectrum throughout the RPM band, and if you are installing a cam, might as well go with something that will work instead of the streamline z06 choice.
If Patrick sees this thread, I am sure that he can persuade you the cheater route from his own personal findings.

As orange said it would be a better chocie taking the cheater cam from what i have heard it makes tq all over the place, also i dont think you would be hurting up top for power with this cam
