not sure what to call this
my friend has 5spd zx3 focus, he was showing me the other day how he could shift at low rpms w/out using the clutch, i tried this in my car, and it can be done, not very smooth, is this bad for the car?

my pops always used to do it in his truck, said he didnt have to push the clutch cuz he was tired...it wont hurt anything
you just have to find that sweet spot in the rpm where the syncros line up and you can slide it into gear

Although it will do this easily to start, it puts a lot of needless wear on your synchronizer friction material. This will cause early synchro probs. I suggest you shift normally.

Anyone have a good estimation and what RPM to do this at with each gear? I don't want to do it but I've been having a wierd clutch issue for a while now and i'd like to have an idea so I can get by with it if I absolutely have to.
