Painted Tail lights
Here are some better pictures of my tail lights that started off like this with condensation in them
next I took them apart just like the headlight mod and the light was in three parts the clear lens the chrome piece and the housing itself. I then sanded the Chrome and painted it NBM the same as the car and put some clear on them.
the chrome piece that I painted did not cover the channel were the clear lense goes so I sanded that down and painted the housing itself here are some final picutres
I did not put the clear lens back on cause it changed the shade of the paint and I cracked one. I know Its not perfect but it is unque I have only heard of a guy with a pewter SS doing the same thing. I also know that some people like it and some hate it and someday I probably will go to stock lights but these are the lights that came on the car so I played around with them.

Good thing you changed the color. Those lights look so "ricey" in chrome. Those actually look kinda good, too bad I'm a fan of the stock lights. Every time I see those style of lights on a Camaro, I think back to the last Darrell Starbird car show. There was a guy in his late 30's with a white Camaro SS with tan initation "guchi" interior(headliner, seats & all), 20" spinners & those lights. It had to be "one" of the most mistreated Camaros' out on the road. They do look better with your improvements.

I like it, looks retro and mean. I got bored and took it the next step further. I wondered what it would look like if you shaved the tail lights and installed single stop lamps. You should be the first to try it I didnt say my photoshop looked good, just bored.
