Default M6 to A4 swap?

Has anybody done this? I know its fairly simple to to an M6 to TH400 swap, but how hard would it be to convert to a 4L60E? Does the wiring harness on the M6 cars have provisions for the A4? What all would be needed?

To be on the safe side i'd get a new wiring harness and PCM anyway. mechanically it shouldn't be too difficult if you're prepared for a th400 swap.

I'm in the middle of the same swap now , call Speartech >>> . They sent me a harness that uses the same PCM , just some pin-swapping and a A4 re-flash and thats it ...

How much did that harness run you? Also what else is needed besides the obvious things, like the tranny, console, shifter, etc?

I think it was $ 185 , other than what you listed all you need is a cooler + lines , and a A4 re-flash .

Basically quicker ETs/more consistency as well as not having to mess with the stick in traffic.
