All you do is take the hose and put one of those little air filters on the end of it and zip tie it to somthing away from moving parts. I know some people that have just stuck it down on the side of the engine bay. It is really simple to install the air lid just follow the same instructions as on install univ but do what i said with the little air filter. you can buy them at any auto parts store.

ALso you might as well get a K&N air filter and do the ram air mod while you're in there doing that. if you have any other question's PM me.Nic
Good Luck

The hole for the senser should be there, you will need to pop your rubber for the sensor out of the stock lid and reuse it. the hose is for the Air pump and does not have to be hooked back up to the lid. some people do get a small filter from the auto parts store an d put on the end of it. it just supplys freash air to the cats on inital start up. I stuffed the end of my hose(open ended) down into the area behind the head light.

My MTI Clear lid had a hole in it for the IAT sensor but the hole wasnt quite the right size for the rubber stopper on the senser (a little too big) I just jammed it in and covered it in some silicone... I dont know if anyone else had the same issue cuz I've never heard of it

No hole for the IAT is a boo boo. Call the vendor and have them replace it, or you could measure the stock hole and drill it yourself.

I would just drill it and be done with it. just be careful and drill it slowly with out using too much pressure. the clear lids are hard plastic and sometimes britle .

its obvious to me that the holes in the clear lids are drilled when they are produced so as long as you take it slowly I dont think you have to worry

Just drill a small hole first, then use a larger bit, or even a dremmel to enlarge the hole. If you can wait just send it back, they should pay shipping costs.
