Possibly buying an LS1, what to look for? Hey guys, I;m going to be looking at a new LS1 shortly and was wondering what potential problems I should look for (i.e. leaks, funny sounds, etc.) and what all I should check before buying the car. Its a 99 Z28 6 speed with 90k on the clock. Thanks! It also has the RS package...woot!

Generaly if the car runs and drives nice your OK. Look for any evidence of previous mods! Was the car sprayed, is it missing things in the engine bay, any smoke form the exhaust ect. My advice is to buy a car in as close to stock trim as you can find. Good luck
